Hello, Excellent initiative. I was part of launching & implementing "Hamari Suraksha" portal for the Mumbai Police. This portal handled the senior citizens in Mumbai and every police station (89 at that time) were trained to address the local senior citizens in that area. We had data of every individual, their support staff, their general & medical needs, emergency contacts etc. It was one of the biggest initiative to address sr. citizens living in Mumbai. During that process, I trained select staff in 89 police stations, zonal & regional heads.

What is required is a good "training" to the police staff in handling and addressing the issues posted by the citizens in this forum. Defined policy and training required at…

This draft bill should also include environmental issues, community and street animal care, protection and shelters issues and also deconcretisation of trees on public and private properties, protection of trees and prevention of irrational cutting, beheading and balding of trees just because the permission is issued by BMC.

Sir, the corrupt officers are scared after u built this forum, they know that if you do any wrong thing in the society, then its news will reach u.Earlier, people used to have a lot of trouble to reach the police commissioner.we help to resolve issues pertaining to safety,security,and civic issues.thanks a lot

Dear founding organizers,

I read the first draft bill.

There is no mention in the draft bill of the legal structure of MCF. Is it to be a Section 8 company under Companies Act 2013? Or a NGO registered under the Societies Act or under the Charity Commissioner? How can it claim to be "the" representative body of citizens of Mumbai? Without a track record, why should any Government heed its appeals? There are many more questions... I hope answers would soon be coming.
